Pinellas County Juvenile Justice Council Minutes approved as submitted 7/14/08 Call to order by chair Plyer, a quorum was present at 7:00 p.m. Attendees: In the absence of Secretary Pitts, Chair Plyer offered to take the meeting notes passing the gavel over to Vice Chair Sullivan to conduct the meeting. Public comment There were no other persons present, there was no public comment. Approval of minutes of January 14, 2008 The vice chair recommended approval of executive meeting minutes of 1/14/2008. There being no objection to waiver of reading or comments as to changes, the minutes were approved and adopted as submitted by a majority of the members present. There were no executive meetings held in the months of February and March. New business No noticed motions, special items or old business of interest was slated for the new business, so matters of the agendas were discussed. The committee approved agendas for the general meetings of Pinellas County Juvenile Justice Council dated for 4/24/2008 and 6/26/2008 as follows: For 4/24/2008 meeting:
There is no May general council meeting scheduled. For 6/26/2008 meeting: Establish nomination committee for election of Council officers and Council appointments to the Circuit 6 Juvenile Justice Board. Open discussion: Committee members discussed various topics. The next meeting of the executive committee is 7/14/2008 There being no further business Vice Chair Sullivan declared adjournment.
