Juvenile Justice Council Attendees: Dave
Plyer, Chair Call to Order: Chair Dave Plyer called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. A quorum was established. In the absence of the Secretary, the Chair took responsibility to record the minutes. Approve Meeting Minutes: There were no minutes to approve. The Executive Committee did not meet in February or March 2007. Therefore, the only draft minutes were those from the Executive Committee meeting of January 8, 2007. However, members of the Executive Committee approved those minutes at the March 29, 2007 public meeting of the PCJJC Grant Review Team. Members of Executive Committee (Plyer, Sullivan and Corry) were also members of the Grant Review Team. New Business: The Committee approved agendas for the meetings of the Pinellas County Juvenile Justice Council (PCJJC). These meetings are scheduled for Thursdays April 26, 2007, May 24, 2007 and June 28, 2007. There was no notice of motions or other special items of interested slated for the New Business item on the agendas. Open Discussion The Committee discussed the possibility of a letter to the statutory members of the Circuit 6 Juvenile Justice Board. The letter would appeal to the statutory members to speak-out against the apparent illegal activities of Board Chair Calvin Harris towards the Pinellas County Juvenile Justice Council. The PCJJC Chair would send this letter prior to the Circuit 6 Juvenile Justice Board scheduled for April 30, 2007. The next meeting of the Executive Committee is Monday, July 16, 2007 Adjourn: There was no further business. The Chair recommended adjournment. There was no objection. The meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
