Executive Committee Meeting

Attendees:
Dave Plyer, Chair
Matt Sullivan, Vice-Chair
Cathy Corry, Membership Registrar 

Chair called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. A quorum was established.

In the absence of the Secretary, Chair Dave Plyer requested that meeting notes be taken by Cathy Corry. There was no objection.

Minutes of 5/15/06 Pinellas County Juvenile Justice Council Executive Committee meeting were not available for approval.

Chair disbanded Zero Tolerance Committee because the purpose of committee was fulfilled.

Chair removed Outreach Committee Chair Chris Ortiz.

There was discussion of formation of Nominations Committee for two upcoming elections: Council officers September election and Board appointees October election.  Nomination Committee will be formed at 6/22/06 Council meeting. 

Draft agenda for 6/22/06 Pinellas County Juvenile Justice Council meeting was discussed and adopted.

Matt Sullivan reported that June Council meeting notice was submitted to St. Pete Times and a local municipality weekly newspaper.

Cathy Corry reported conversation with Tim Niermann about his office sending out meeting notice postcards for June Council meeting.

Meeting adjourned at 7:32 PM.
