Meeting Minutes of the Zero Tolerance Committee of the Juvenile Justice Council of Pinellas County on 2/16/06 (DRAFT) Meeting began at 7:30pm at the St. Petersburg Main Library with 4 council members in attendance, including the Chair of the Council (David Plyer), the Chair of the Committee (Rev. Bruce Wright), and 2 members of the council: Cathy Corry and Bonnie McClelland Introductions were given Council President Dave Plyer gave an update on the status of the request to the 6th Circuit Board and the School Board regarding a moratorium on school arrests related to Disruptive Behavior We then looked at the current wording on the request for a proposal for the 6th Circuit Board to implement the Strategic Plan’s Zero Tolerance Goals We brought forward suggested revisions to this proposal We then had open comments and discussion of the proposal and other issues regarding Zero Tolerance We then Adjourned our meeting at 7:30pm Submitted by Rev.
