Pinellas County Juvenile Justice Council
Executive Committee Meeting
April 20, 2005
9:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m.

In attendance:), Jackie Griffin-Doherty - (Chair), Tammy Hillier Flowers –
(Vice-Chair), Tony Hinson- (Parliamentarian) and Stephanie Prestwood
(Secretary)

Tammy Hillier- Flowers called the Executive Committee to order at 9:00 a.m.
The purpose of the meeting was to set the agenda for the April 28th
Juvenile Justice Council Meeting.

New Business

·     The committee reviewed the agenda for the April 28th meeting and
approved it.

·     The Vice Chair stated that the PCJJC meeting on 4/28 would be held in
a room on the 1st floor. at the Pinellas Park training facility.  The
council has the room reserved from 9-11 a.m.  She further stated that we
need to be good stewards of time as there is another agency with a meeting
following us.  The chair will send out the room change notice to PCJJC
members.

·     The secretary announced she has changed her affiliation from parent
to the DCF designee for Ben Shirley and will bring her designee letter to
the regular council meeting on 4/28/05.

·     The chair requested the Parliamentarian update the roster due to
members affiliations, email changes and status.

·     The planning committee will be meeting on May 18th following the
Executive Committee meeting to complete the Annual Report. A meeting notice
will be sent out.

·     The committee approved the minutes of the March 16, 2005 Executive
Committee meeting.

·     The Chair announced the Circuit 6 PCJJ Board approved the councils’
recommendations for the Grant Review Cycle 2005-2006.

·     The chair will update the media and community releases for the
5/26/05 combined COC and PCJJC meeting and also release them to the media
outlets and to the PCJJC members.

·     The Vice Chair will construct a comment box to be available at the
PCJJC meetings for those wishing to write their comments.

·     The chair will send via email to all PCJJC members the 4/28/05
meeting notice, the updated annual calendar, the 3/16/05 Executive
Committee minutes, the 3/16/05 Special Inquiry meeting minutes and the
3/24/05 PCJJC Regular Council meeting minutes prior to the 4/28/05 meeting
for their review.

·     The meeting adjourned at 11:00 a.m.
